History of the Group

1949
The 23-year-old Maurizio Peruzzo sets up Valpadana together with his brother Albino.
The company, based in Fontaniva (Padua), specializes in textile waste recovery and processing for the production of padding for mattresses.
1963
After Valpadana, O.R.V. Ovattificio Resinatura Valpadana is set up, with headquarters in Grantorto (Padua). The new company specializes in the production of felts and wadding for the clothing, furnishing and automotive sectors.
1966
Ovatex is founded in Carmignano di Brenta (Padua). This company specializes in felts and non-woven fabrics for the automotive sector.
1970
Business expanded through the share in Sanitaria Valpadana in Meledo di Sarego (VI): a company specialized in fabric for the outdoors and in support for the coating and working of yarns, above all cotton, for the production of industrial technical fabrics.
In the same year Valpadana Sud, a company specialized in felt and cotton batting for furnishing and clothing, was founded in Bellizzi (SA).
1986
In the second half of the 1980's another one of Maurizio Peruzzo's great life-long dreams - building construction - came true.
This passion led to the founding of Precompressi Valsugana, a company specialized in the production of handmade prestressed reinforced concrete articles for building, in Fontaniva (Pd) with the factory in Grigno (TN).
1987
With a share in Tessilbrenta, initially located in San Nazario (VI) and now in Pove del Grappa (VI), the Gruppo Industrie Maurizio Peruzzo also specialized in geotextiles, spunbonded fabric for civil engineering works.
Always in 1987, O.R.V. opened its third plant in Misinto (Mi) with the goal of expanding its production and commercial activities.
In this year the real-estate company Immobiliare Generale Veneta was founded, which manages all buying and selling operations of property in the Veneto.
1989
The company's success grew, markets expanded and the year gave rise to the foreign venture of the Group with Polovat, the most important Polish company in the automotive sector located in Swidnica (Poland).
1991
Ferro Valsugana was founded in Grigno (Tn) for the production of iron reinforcements for the prestressed reinforced concrete industry.
On the international front, Euroconstruct, a company specialized in the production of industrial prefabricated structures, aggregate extraction, bridges, and roads, was acquired in Timisoara (Romania).
1992
The fourth ORV plant was opened in Fontaniva (Pd) for the production of felt for the mattress and car industries.
1994
Expansion abroad continued with the founding of Imp Romania Industrial Co in Timisoara (Romania), specialized in the working of artificial and synthetic fibers for the production of padding for the clothing and furnishing sectors.
1997
Monlandys (Rumania) was founded with the objective to pick important opportunities derived from the development of the Rumanian real estate market.
1999
A new factory, specialized in the production of polyester and polyolefinic fibres, is set up in Fontaniva (Padua). The sale of some company branches of Industrie Maurizio Peruzzo to the American company, Lear Corporation, was concluded. This initiative was part of a more precise and broader plan of the Group: to focus on its "core business" and to expand its business to sectors that have proven to be "more promising", with specific interventions in different areas, also on an international level. With this important objective in mind, the Group sold the Ovatex plant in Villastellone and Valpadana Sud in Bellizzi (Salerno) to the Lear Corporation, apart from a "minor share" in the Group as far as Polovat in Biesko Biala (Poland) was concerned.
In 1999 Comfort (Poland) was also founded for the working of artificial fibers for the clothing, furnishing and car industries.
2000
The company Ovatex was incorporated into O.R.V.
EuroProducts, a company that covers a wide range of specific activities tied to exploiting river aggregates and the preparation of mortars and concrete, was founded.
EuroLogistica, a company that is now recognized as an important point of reference in the building sector due to its ability to offer a vast fleet of specific mobile means destined for the building sector, was also born in 2000. Yet another company, EuroPrefabricate, was founded in the same year. It is specialized in the planning, construction and assembly of industrial and civil buildings of one or more floors in reinforced concrete and in "prefabricated" prestressed concrete.
2001
The Group never stops keeping in step with technological evolution, thanks to its ability to update itself through continuous investments in production systems.
This was confirmed by the founding of Valplastic in 2001, which enabled Maurizio Peruzzo to realize his dream: completing the production cycle with the construction of systems that produce fiber from polyester obtained from the chips of plastic bottles. The most recent "jewel" he created is, in fact, a system that washes the bottles and turns them into PET chips. A crucial step, which enables the Group to control the entire recycling of PET chips with the purpose of obtaining the fiber, which is the raw material for production.
Polowat, a company that transforms plastic bottles from urban trash collections into PET chips, was founded with the same entrepreneurial and innovative spirit.
2002
The majority of shares in the company Netex in Bistrita (Romania) was acquired: the first textile company for the industrial production of spunbonded materials and felt for the Romanian automotive sector, which, through experience gained during over 30 years, integrated the line of products offered by IMP RUMANIA.
With the precise objective of offering clients a complete package of services and products, EuroHolding, a company that manages and runs the companies belonging to the EURO Group (EuroConstruct, EuroPrefabricate, EuroLogistica, EuroProducts), was also founded.
2003
O.R.V. Manufacturing is founded. Nowadays, O.R.V.'s production division is part of O.R.V. Manufacturing and operates as the Holding Company of the textile group in Italy.
Today
The Group is still expanding, consolidating its business in Poland and Romania and increasing investments in new projects in Tunisia and Bulgaria.
