For different levels of performance
Each VALTHERM product evolves from an exclusive combination of processing techniques. The result is a range of wadding which offer unrivalled performance for a wide variety of applications. Three main groups of wadding can be identified from these processing techniques:
CALENDERED: This high-tech wadding undergoes the special process of calendering, which confers superior softness, minimum thickness and total effectiveness in anti-pilling control. Its exterior is compact, smooth and uniform, gradually becoming softer towards the interior.
NEEDLE-PUNCHED: Layers of soft, resilient wadding bound together mechanically. Each layer of wadding is completely stabilized, providing greater resistance to wear and tear. Excellent anti-pilling control.
RESINATED: This wadding is produced with polyester fibres. They are processed with a cross-fibre weave and precise amounth of atomised resins, in order to achieve maximum stability.
